First-year Amanda Elton Earns All Region Honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo - United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced the 2019 All-Region Teams on Monday with first-year Amanda Elton (Cottage Grove, Minn. / Park) named to the All-North Region Third Team. The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Rookie of the Year is one of just three first-years on the All-North Region honorees list and the lone newcomer from the MIAC.

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Despite sophomore Katie Benjamin tallying a career-high 20-points, the St. Catherine basketball team came up just short to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) foe, No. 14 Augsburg University, 62-57 at Butler Center on Tuesday evening. After getting behind early in the conference game, St. Catherine went on to outscore the Auggies 31-23 in the second half.

ST. PAUL, Minn. - First-year Laura Denchfield led St. Catherine to a 4-1 victory over Saint Mary's University on Saturday afternoon at Drake Arena. After dropping the first game of the series in Winona on Friday evening, St. Catherine claimed their first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) victory of the 2019-20 season.

Basketball drops conference opener to No. 9 Tommies on Saturday

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Senior Danica Cambrice had an 18-point day against the No. 9 University of St. Thomas Tommies in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) season opener. The Wildcats fell to the Tommies 58-41 moving to an overall record of 2-2 and 0-1 in the MIAC.
