MIAC to launch "MIAC Journal" series

MIAC Journal

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- In the absence of competitive athletics for the remainder of 2020, the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) is inviting its current student-athletes to share their experiences and perspectives through a new essay series written by and for current student-athletes entitled the "MIAC Journal."

The feature is intended to spotlight the unique and often unseen sides of the many outstanding young men and women who participate in college athletics. Essay topics may discuss items of interest and importance to student-athletes, including, but not limited to: competition in the MIAC and NCAA Division III, college life as a student-athlete, mental and physical health, social justice and activism, diversity and inclusion, college athletics in the COVID-19 era, and personal and professional development.

Current student-athletes who would like to participate in the series can submit their stories at https://miac.prestosports.com/forms/miacjournal.
